Pollen Game Objectives

Unwind after a long day with two relaxing minutes of guided breathing, and bring life into a barren game world.

Get rewarded for completing breathing sessions with seeds and use these to unlock new plants, for your virtual garden.

Get started with these simple steps below

February 1st-14th

  • Take a quick pre-survey about your stress and relaxation habits: link

  • Join the discord(Q&A, community, garden sharing): link

Day 1 (8:00 PM): February 15th

  • At approximately 8pm, you’ll receive an email with instructions to 1) download TestFlight on the AppStore and then 2) download Pollen

  • Play a 2-minute breathing session. Ideal stress-relieving breathing is at 5.5 seconds for inhale and exhale. Just follow the in game circular guides

  • Remember, at least one daily session is encouraged.

Throughout the Week:

  • If you encounter stress, just close your eyes and focus on the breathing you learned in the game - no app needed! You've got this!

  • Play the app at least once a day to gain your daily streak, earning even more rewards

Day 8:

  • Share your feedback in the post-survey and help us make the ultimate relaxation game: link

Keep Growing (Optional):

  • Continue playing and tending to your garden - it's all yours to nurture!

  • We'll keep you updated on exciting developments and future releases.

Survey Rewards (Drawing):

  • 1-2 weeks after the pilot, we'll announce 5 lucky winners who played at least once and completed both surveys!

  • Each winner receives a $20 gift card as a thank you for your contribution!

Thank you so much for being a champion of campus well-being and for helping us test this prototype. We’ve partnered with the Student Health Promotion team at UC Berkeley to test this iOS game specifically to help students and young professionals combat stress.
